                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   EXECUTE A THREE-YEAR CONTRACT WITH JAKE
                   MARSHALL SERVICE COMPANY FOR PREVENTIVE
                   MAINTENANCE ON THE MECHANICAL SYSTEMS AND
                   EQUIPMENT AT THE SOLDIERS AND SAILORS
                   MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED
                   FORTY-EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY AND
                   NO/100 DOLLARS ($48,420.00), THE FIRST YEAR
                   COST OF WHICH IS SIXTEEN THOUSAND ONE
                   HUNDRED FORTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($16,140.00).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute a three-year contract with Jake Marshall Service
       Company for preventive maintenance on the mechanical systems and
       equipment at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium at a
       cost not to exceed $48,420.00, the first year cost of which is
       $16,140.00.
